BRIEF HISTORY OF THE BANK

Koylanchal Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd. has started its journey in 1994, by its founder members Sri Suresh Kumar Khaitan, Sri Mangal Chand Rawat, Sri Hemant Kumar Drolia, Sri Mahabir Prasad Heliwal, Sri Niranjan Lal Narnoli, etc, to fulfill the financial needs of the people of Koylanchal and to uplift their economic status. It is the result of dedication, sincerity and honesty of the founders that the proposal for foundation of Koylanchal Urban Cooperative Bank Limited was accepted by the RBI granted license on 27-01- 2000. However, the bank started its first branch at Kirkend in a premises of 1200 sq. feet approx on 2 nd October 2000, i.e. birthday of Rashtrapita Mahatama Gandhi & Lal Bahadur Shastri.

The CEO of the Bank is Mr. Madan Mohan Jha, who has dedicated himself and is making all efforts for the sound development of the bank since its inception. Branch head of all the branches are listed below:-

Katrasgarh Branch – Mr Sanjay Tewary
